Quiver Distribution has released, online, the official trailer for Candy Land (US - 2022), the horror slasher that will arrive in US theaters on January 6, 2023.
Written and directed by John Swab (Ida Red, Body Brokers), Candy Land addresses the issue of prostitution and religion.
The story features Remy (Olivia Luccardi), a seemingly naive and devout girl who finds herself excluded from her religious cult. With nowhere to go, the young woman joins trucker prostitutes including Sadie (Sam Quartin), Riley (Eden Brolin), Liv (Virginia Rand) and Levi (Owen Campbell). Between religious beliefs and a new way of life, Remy will search for her calling.
The cast includes Olivia Luccardi (It Follows), Eden Brolin (Blood Bound), William Baldwin (Killer Fire), Sam Quartin (Body Brokers), Owen Campbell (X: A Sexy Horror Story), Guinevere Turner (American Psycho), Virginia Rand (I am Fear), and Brad Carter (Sons of Anarchy).
