After the poster, we report the release of the first stills of Camera Obscura (USA – 2017), l'horror psicologico sul disturbo post traumatico da stress (DPTS), denominato “Nevrosi da guerra” proprio perché riscontrato molto spesso nei soldati o nei veterani di guerra. Il film segna l'esordio alla regia di Aaron B. Koontz e vedrà la luce nei cinema statunitensi il 9 giugno grazie a Chiller Films. La data per il VOD invece è fissata al 13 giugno.
Plot: A war veteran with PTSD is convinced that he has endangered the lives of everyone he loves. In fact, the photos he takes seem to capture the future death of the people portrayed.
Camera Obscura homages the episode "The Purple Testament" ("The Twilight Zone") from the TV series The Twilight Zone and also The eye that kills (Peeping Tom) directed by Michael Powell in 1960.
The cast consists of: Christopher Denham, Nadja Bobyleva, Chase Williamson (Beyond the Gates), Catherine Curtin, Noah Segan (The Mind's Eye, Tales of Halloween), Andrew Sensenig, Jeremy King, Dane Rhodes, Gretchen Lodge, David Jensen, Charlie Talbert, Carol Sutton, and Lance E. Nichols.
Director Aaron B. Koontz co-wrote the screenplay with Cameron Burns.
