Caleb Landry Jones is Dracula in Luc Besson's new film

According to Deadline's reveal, Caleb Landry Jones (Antiviral) will be Dracula in the new project by French screenwriter and director Luc Besson (Nikita, Léon, Dogman).
After playing Doug, a paraplegic and dog-friendly man in the intense Dogman (premiered in competition at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on Aug. 31, 2023) directed by the aforementioned director, the U.S. actor will play the famous vampire in what will be a reimagining of Bram Stoker's Gothic novel.

There are no exact plot details yet, but it appears that the film, which is currently being cast, will give space to Dracula's life and the romantic history between him and his wife, whose disappearance will bring the man closer to evil.

In addition to Caleb Landry Jones, Oscar-winning Austrian actor Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained) is also confirmed in the cast.
The film is being produced by Luc Besson's EuropaCorp and filming will begin this year.
