Black Mandala has released the poster and trailer for Buzz Cut (New Zealand - 2021), the New Zealand horror comedy in which there is no shortage of splatter and gore.
Written and directed by newcomer Martin Renner, Buzz Cut is an homage to the slasher of the 1980s and also to Bad Taste Peter Jackson's (but without aliens).
The film benefits from the presence in the cast of horror icon Linnea Quigley, known for her role as the spicy Trash in the Return of the living dead (1985) by Dan O' Bannon but also for having starred in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988), The night of the demons (1988) e Silent Night, Deadly Night - Christmas of Blood (1984).
In Buzz Cut, a group of alcohol-loving friends reach an isolated cabin where they will have to deal with a ruthless serial killer.
Also in the cast are Donna Wilkes (Jaws 2, Blood Song) along with Phoenix Cross, Benjamin Hudson, Zoë Helen Boyle, and Ashton Brown.
