Unearthed Films has announced its upcoming home video releases. These are. Brutal (2017) and A Record of Sweet Murder (2014), two Japanese extreme horror films.
The first will be available starting Dec. 11, while the release date for the second film will be announced soon.
Written and directed by Takashi Hirose, Brutal features An assassin in search of prey in Japan. The man will be guilty of horrendous crimes, but what is he looking for? The same thing a murderer is looking for.All of us are looking for love, and sometimes we are willing to kill to find the right, special person.
Brutal is the story of two people who find themselves in the most vicious way possible.
In the cast: Katrina Grey, Takashi Nishina, Nanako Ohata, and Naho Nakashima.

A Record of Sweet Murder (aka Aru yasashiki satsujinsha no kiroku) is a Japanese extreme horror film written and directed by Kôji Shiraishi (Grotesque, Noroi The Curse, Slit-Mouthed Woma).
Plot: Sang-joon (Je-wook Yeon) has escaped from a psychiatric institution and in a short time has already managed to exterminate a full-bodied group of teenagers--all for love. In order to save one person he will have to kill 27.
In the cast: Je-wook Yeon, Kkobbi Kim, Tsukasa Aoi, Ryôtarô Yonemura, and Kôji Shiraishi.
