Vision Distribution releases the official Italian trailer for Bones and All (Italy, USA – 2022), horror film directed by Italian director Luca Guadagnino (Suspiria – 2018) and starring Timothée Chalamet (Don't Look Up), here in the role of a cannibal.
Presented as a "horror love story." Bones and All It is the film adaptation of Camille DeAngelis's cannibal-themed novel of the same name and will be released in Italian cinemas on November 23.
The story sheds light on a first love, that between Lee (Timothée Chalamet) and Maren (Taylor Russell), two star-crossed lovers living on the fringes of society, perpetually on the run from everyone and themselves. No matter how hard the two try, any road seems to lead them back to their terrible past, until the decisive moment that will determine whether the feeling that binds them can survive their diversity and the world around them.
In the cast of Bones and All, In addition to Timothée Chalamet, there are also Taylor Russell (Escape Room), Mark Rylance, André Holland, Jessica Harper (Suspiria – 1977), Michael Stuhlbarg (The Shape of Water), David Gordon Green (director of the Halloween saga – 2018), Francesca Scorsese (Wolf at the Door), and Chloë Sevigny (The Dead Don't Die).
The script was written by David Kajganich, the screenwriter of Suspiria (2018).
The film won the Silver Lion for Best Director and the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Emerging Actress for Taylor Russell at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
