After the trailer, the Italian poster of Bones and All (Italy, USA - 2022), the new horror film directed by Luca Guadagnino (Suspiria - 2018) and starring Timothée Chalamet (Don't Look Up), here as a cannibal.
Presented as a "horror love story." Bones and All is the film adaptation of the cannibal-themed novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis and will debut in Italian theaters on Nov. 23.
The story sheds light on a first love, that between Lee (Timothée Chalamet) and Maren (Taylor Russell), two star-crossed lovers living on the fringes of society, perpetually on the run from everyone and themselves. No matter how hard the two try, any road seems to lead them back to their terrible past, until the decisive moment that will determine whether the feeling that binds them can survive their diversity and the world around them.
The cast also includes Taylor Russell (Escape Room), Mark Rylance, André Holland, Jessica Harper (Suspiria - 1977), Michael Stuhlbarg (The Shape of Water), David Gordon-Green (the director of the Halloween saga - 2018), Francesca Scorsese (Wolf at the Door) and Chloë Sevigny (The Dead Don't Die).
The script, on the other hand, is by David Kajganich, the screenwriter of Suspiria (2018).
The film won the "Silver Lion for Directing" and the "Marcello Mastroianni Award" for Best New Actress to Taylor Russell at the 79. Venice International Film Festival.
