Alla regia di questo film con Bill Moseley c'è Chris Sun, noto per aver diretto Charlie's Farm in 2014. The director also co-wrote the screenplay with Kristy Dallas.
Plot of Boar: nell’entroterra australiano vive un enorme cinghiale che difende il suo territorio e uccide tutti coloro che incontra sul suo cammino. Gli abitanti del posto però lo considerano nient'altro che una creatura leggendaria ma la terrificante bestia darà prova della sua esistenza con crudeltà e spietatezza.
The cast, in addition to the aforementioned Bill Moseley (House of a Thousand Bodies, House of the Devil) also includes John Jarratt (Wolf Creek) and former wrestler Nathan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road) previously seen in Charlie's Farm in the role of the villain. The three actors are also joined by Roger Ward, Christie-Lee Britten, Melissa Tkautz, Simone Buchanan, Hugh Sheridan, Steve Bisley, Chris Bridgewater, Chris Haywood and Ernie Dingo.
