Alla regia del progetto c'è Domiziano Cristopharo, autore di diversi film horror fra cui citiamo i recenti TetroManiac: eROTik and Nightmare Symphony.
Blue Sunset is played by Daniele Arturi, the protagonist of The House Guest, horror filmed during the lockdown by Cristopharo himself. Ciro Cerreta and Irene Baruffetti (Vore Gore) complete the cast. The film also features cameos by Chiara Pavoni (Xpiation), Elisa Carrera Fumagalli (7 Sins) and Alessio Cherubini (The Iced Hunter).
The screenplay for Blue Sunset is by Andrea Cavaletto and Cristopharo himself while the CGI is by Alessandro Basso, with whom the director has already directed the video clip "Next Generation" for the group Breathing Machines.
Plot: In the near future, the NOVA company plans to hide sophisticated mind control systems behind its video games. To implement its plan, the company turns to Silver 02 (Daniele Arturi), their top programmer. The man, however, will be intercepted by rebel hackers who want to thwart the company's plan. Already compromised by the use of hallucinogenic drugs, Silver 02's sanity will begin to waver as he oscillates between the virtual and real worlds.
