Inspired by Oltretomba, comic book series in the horror and erotic genre created in 1971 by Stanley Baldock and Dino Leonetti, Bloody Sin has been defined as "The First Glam Horror Movie" from the French monthly L'Écran Fantastique and stars Dallas Walker, Maria Rosaria Omaggio (Nightmare City), Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust), Venantino Venantini (City of the Living Dead), Roberta Gemma (Hyde's Secret Nightmare) and Antonella Salvucci (Nightmare Symphony).
Plot: Inquisition. Two high prelates condemn one of their former brethren to death on charges of witchcraft. The action then shifts to the 1970s. In the office of American glamour magazine Bizarre Magazine, editor Miss Steele assigns photographer Johnny Morghen to travel to Olevano Castle, Italy, with model Barbara, assistant Helen and makeup artist Rita to find inspiration and produce a horror-sexy comic strip to relaunch the magazine, which has been challenged by the feminist movement.
Arriving at their destination, the team is welcomed by Mr. Lenzi and escorted to the castle of noble Terence Fisher, who lives there with his elderly mother. Because of legends related to the Inquisition, however, the gloomy mansion is shrouded in an aura of mystery that will make their stay hostile.
