L'horror Bloody Ballet (aka Ghost, The Malevolent) will be available on DVD and Blu-ray starting Nov. 13 through High Octane Pictures. Written and directed in 2017 by Brett Mullen (Bombshell Bloodbath, Belladonna), Bloody Ballet is an exemplary tribute to the Italian-style giallo in which thriller and horror contaminations stand out. Here is our review.
Kendra Carelli (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) plays Adriana Mena, a girl scarred by a tragic past. After landing the role of prima ballerina, the young woman begins to have violent and horrific hallucinations that will force her to confront her inner demons. Meanwhile, a mysterious masked killer begins to claim victims among the ballet company.
In the cast of Bloody Ballet Also included are Debbie Rochon (Terror Firmer, Slime City Massacre), Caroline Williams (Don't Open That Door - Part 2, Hatchet III), Shane Terry, Brett Wagner, Rob Springer, Katie Carpenter, David Schifter, Patrick G. Keenan, Tom Gore and Jess Barbour.
Matt Cloude co-wrote the script with Brett Mullen who also handled the cinematography.
Joh Harp, Amber Michael and Matthew Patterson, on the other hand, were in charge of special effects.
Bombshell BloodbathBrett Mullen's zombie movie, on the other hand, will soon be released in Italy under the title Dead Inferno in nuova deluxe collector's edition due dischi.
