Blood Moon: werewolves in the Wild West for a new western-horror film.

Blood-MoonFirst trailer out for Blood Moon (UK - 2014), a horror-western film belonging to the werewolf filmography. Blood Moon is directed by Jeremy Wooding, a British director who has generally been involved in TV series in the past, while the screenplay is by Alan Wightman.

Colorado, the year 1887. A gunman and passengers aboard a stagecoach are taken hostage by two wanted outlaws. Unfortunately, events take an unexpected turn when, that very night, a blood-colored moon dyes the sky red. According to local folk beliefs, the red moon is associated with the appearance of a fierce creature, a monster that actually manifests itself by sowing blood and death.

BLOOD-PosterThe cast of Blood Moon consists of Jack Fox, George Blagden (After the Dark), Ian Whyte (Prometheus), Shaun Dooley (The Woman in Black, 1921-The Rookford Mystery), Anna Skellern, Tom Cotcher, Barrington De La Roche. The names Michael Vine and Jeremy Wooding instead appear in the film's production.

Blood Moon premiered at Frightfest in London and is currently showing at the American Film Market thanks to Jinga Films.
