A ottobre, sul sito ufficiale TetroVideo, sarà avviato anche il pre-order di Blood Massacre (1987), il delirante slasher a tema cannibalico diretto da Don Dohler, regista noto nel circuito indipendente per i violenti splatter fanta-horror Nightbeast and Alien Factor.
For the first time on standalone DVD, Blood Massacre is part of the series Tetro Underground, a line dedicated to recovering films produced until 1999 that never enjoyed an official release, titles that are still unreleased, unobtainable or forgotten.
The film will be released in the vintage slipcase edition that recalls that of the old VHS + Amaray + DVD.
Nella sezione degli extra, oltre al trailer, è presente una scena di apertura che molto probabilmente è stata girata come teaser per raccogliere fondi per l’intera produzione. Sempre nei contenuti speciali ci sarà un parziale rough cut della prima versione video.
The original analog master of Blood Massacre is now lost while the version presented by TetroVideo is from a digital copy obtained from VHS and which the director himself later cleaned up and digitally restored.
Il film è stato girato nel 1987 ma è uscito in VHS nel 1991.
Plot: a group of deranged men rob a local store and kill the owner's daughter. To hide, the killers break into an isolated house taking a family hostage, not knowing that the victims they are trying to terrorize are actually very hungry cannibalistic lunatics.
