In these hours, the official poster of Blood Feast (Germany, USA - 2016), the ultra gore and splatter remake of the cult film of the same name directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis in 1963. Written by Philip Lilienschwarz (Absolutio - Erlösung im Blut) and directed by German director Marcel Walz (Avantgarde, Seed 2), Blood Feast will see the light of day in the United States and Canada thanks to Hanover House and Crimson Forest Entertainment Group.
Plot: Egyptian Fuad Ramses (Robert Rusler) runs a catering service for some chain restaurants in Miami. When business begins to fail, in addition to maintaining his business, he also begins working at an Egyptian museum that will lead him to become a devotee of an ancient ritual related to the mythology of the ancient goddess Ishtar (Sadie Katz). Convinced that he can bring the deity back to life, Fuad assembles a female body using anatomical parts of his victims.
The cast includes Robert Rusler (Nightmare 2 - Revenge, Vamp, Sometimes They Come Back), Caroline Williams, Sophie Monk, Sadie Katz (Don't Open That Door - Part 2), Liliana Nova, Wilfried Capet, Roland Freitag, Metisha Schaefer, Annika Strauss, Max Evans and Herschell Gordon Lewis (the director of the 1963 film who died last September).
