With Dark Sky Films comes online the official trailer for Blackout (USA - 2023), the werewolf horror film written and directed by actor and director Larry Fessenden (Habit, Wendigo, Beneath, Depraved).
Produced by Glass Eye Pix (a film production company founded by Larry Fessenden himself), Blackout will be released in U.S. theaters on March 13 and then arrive on streaming platforms on April 12.
Blackout is part of a trilogy on classic monsters edited by Larry Fessenden and includes the vampire-themed horror Habit and Depraved, horror film about Frankenstein.
The story of Blackout stars Charley Barrett (Alex Hurt), a painter who becomes convinced that he is the werewolf who, every full moon, sows horror and death in a small American town.
Devoted to alcohol and dissatisfied with his life, the artist will convey his mal de vivre through his art.
In the cast of Blackout include Alex Hurt (Foxhole), Addison Timlin (Little Sister), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), Motell Gyn Foster (Marriage Story), Joseph Castillo-Midyett (Death Saved My Life), Ella Rae Peck, John Speredakos (Wendigo, I Sell The Dead), Michael Buscemi (Habit), Joe Swanberg (You're Next, Offseason), and James Le Gros (The Last Winter).
