Universal has released, online, the new Italian trailer for Black Phone (USA – 2021), l'horror prodotto da Blumhouse e che vede alla regia Scott Derrickson (Ultimatum alla terra, Sinister, Liberaci dal male).
Black Phone is the film adaptation of Joe Hill's short story of the same name and stars Ethan Hawke (The Northman), an American actor, screenwriter and director who previously worked with Scott Derrickson on the film Sinister (2012).
The film will arrive in Italian theaters on June 23, 2022 distributed by Universal Pictures, one day ahead of the U.S. release.
The story stars Finney Shaw, a 13-year-old boy kidnapped by a serial killer (Ethan Hawke) who has already killed several minors. Locked in a soundproof basement, the young boy finds an old telephone set disconnected but able to transmit the voices of young victims who will try to help him escape.
In the cast of Black Phone also feature Jeremy Davies, James Ransone, Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw.
The screenplay, on the other hand, was written by Scott Derrickson himself in collaboration with Robert Cargill.
Recall that the masks worn by Ethan Hawke were designed by renowned U.S. actor and effects designer Tom Savini (Zombies, Friday the 13th, Maniac, Day of the Zombies).
