Universal has released, online, the poster and the official Italian trailer for Black Phone 2, the sequel to Black Phone (2021), l’adattamento cinematografico dell'omonimo racconto di Joe Hill.
Produced by Blumhouse, the film once again features Scott Derrickson (Ultimatum to Earth, Sinister, Deliver Us from Evil) as director while Ethan Hawke, the protagonist of the first installment, is once again the villain Il Rapace.
Black Phone 2 will be released in Italian theaters on Oct. 16.
Plot: As Finn, now 17, struggles to survive after captivity, his sister Gwen begins receiving dream calls from the black phone and having disturbing visions of three boys being persecuted at a winter camp called Alpine Lake.
Determinata a risolvere il mistero, la ragazza convince il fratello a recarsi al campo durante una tempesta di neve. Qui i due scopriranno l'esistenza di un legame sconvolgente tra Il Rapace e la storia della loro famiglia.
Black Phone 2 is written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill. The film stars Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Miguel Mora and Jeremy Davies reprising their roles, with Demián Bichir and Arianna Rivas joining the cast.
