Black glasses (2021), the highly anticipated new film by horror master Dario Argento (Profondo rosso, Suspiria), will be at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival to be held in attendance from February 10 to 16, 2022 in the "Special Gala“.
The film is produced by Conchita Airoldi and Laurentina Guidotti for Urania Pictures and features the world icon of genre cinema who has marked entire generations with his unmistakable and timeless style as director. Recall that Dario Argento is once again in the directing booth nine years after his last film viz. Dracula 3D (2012).
Presented as a "true Italian-style detective story" and "a gripping, shocking thriller." Black glasses is written by Dario Argento in collaboration with Franco Ferrini and stars Ilenia Pastorelli, here as Diana, an escort who becomes prey to a serial killer.
Plot: Diana is an escort who, in order to escape her attacker, crashes into a car, losing her sight. From the shock Diana re-emerges determined to fight for her survival, but she is no longer alone. Defending her and seeing for her now are Nerea, her German wolfdog, and the small Chinese child Chin, who survived the accident. Haunted by the blood that surrounds them, they will be united by fear and a desperate search for a way out, because the killer does not want to give up his prey. Who will be saved?
