Black Circle è un titolo che si inserisce nella filmografia sulla possessione. Nella storia infatti è proprio un caso demoniaco, collegato a un misterioso disco inciso negli anni '70, a cambiare la vita dei protagonisti.
According to the director himself, in fact, Black Circle affronta l'ossessiva spirale del successo e il modo in cui la società ci costringe a modellare la nostra identità, trasformandoci in qualcosa di diverso e mostruoso.
Playing the protagonist is Madeleine Trollvik. Also in the cast is Christina Lindberg (Thriller), cult icon of exploitation cinema.
The project was announced at the Marché du Film in Cannes and is a co-production between the United States, England, Mexico, Sweden, Finland and Italy, in which Mondo Macabro and Klubb Super8 also participated. Italian label Penny Video will also distribute the film in 2017 in the Opium Visions series.
