In May we told you about Bite (Canada - 2015), the horror film about a woman who turns into an insect. As of a few hours ago, the official trailer has been online, which we invite you to watch, as well as a new poster depicting the main character Casey (Elma Begovic) intent on caring for her eggs. The director of Bite is Chad Archibald (Antisocial, The Drownsman) who co-wrote the script with Jayme Laforest.
An unknown insect bites Casey right during her bachelorette party. Back home, the woman feels a strange malaise and, as the hours pass, her body undergoes a metamorphosis that will cause her to transform into a bug hungry for human flesh.
The cast consists of Elma Begovic (Save Yourself), Annette Wozniak, Denise Yuen, Jordan Gray, Lawrene Denkers, Denise Yuen, and Tianna Nori. The film is produced by Black Fawn Films, Chad Archibald's Canadian film production company.
