Il noto attore, regista e produttore statunitense Bill Paxton, classe 1955, è scomparso durante la notte di sabato all'età di 61 anni, in seguito a complicazioni dovute ad un intervento chirurgico. Bill Paxton lascia la moglie e due figli oltre che tanto sconforto in tutti i suoi fan.
Lo ricordiamo soprattutto per i capolavori anni '80 in cui ha recitato come Aliens - Scontro Finale (1986) e the vampire movie Near the Dark (Near Dark) from 1987. We then find him in Night Warning (1981), Morgue (Mortuary) (1983), Brain Dead (1990) by Adam Simon and then again in Terminator, Predator 2 and Boxing Helena. Among his latest films dedicated to lovers of the horror genre, the supernatural thriller Frailty - Nessuno è al sicuro (2001).
