Well-known American actor Bill Moseley, whose filmography includes more than a hundred films almost exclusively in the horror genre, will play the role of the cannibalistic clown Crepitus in the new film (currently in pre-production) by Haynze Whitmore (Wade, Street Cleaner) and whose title is the very name of the character mentioned just now.
Plot: Life for 17-year-old Elizabeth and her little brother Julian is not easy when caring for them is an alcoholic and abusive mother who terrorizes them day and night. For the two young boys, the situation worsens when the woman decides to move into her deceased grandfather's house. Here the two little brothers will be forced to learn tremendous and disturbing secrets about their family but not only. They will also arouse a deep interest in Crepitus, a dangerous cannibal clown.
The screenplay of Crepitus has been assigned to Eddie and Sarah Renner. In the cast, however, in addition to the aforementioned Bill Moseley, are Jackey Hall, Raiden Moore, Caitlin Williams, Mike Hard and Lance Paul. The latter also handled the production of the film through his company Ginger Knight Entertainment.
Notable roles played by Bill Moseley, now considered a true horror icon, include especially that of Chop-Top Sawyer in Don't open that door 2 (1986) by Tobe Hooper and that of Otis in the The house of 1000 bodies and The House of the Devil (2005) by Rob Zombie.
