Better Watch Out (Australia, USA - 2016), previously known under the title. Safe Neighborhood (link to news story), will be distributed by Well Go USA Entertainment. In fact, the film will be available for VOD and will debut in U.S. theaters starting October 6, 2017, a date that will likely be followed by a release during the holiday season.
Better Watch Out is a thriller-horror about Christmas and, specifically a home invasion. Directing is Chris Peckover (here in his second feature film) who also co-wrote the screenplay with Zack Kahn.
Plot: On Christmas night, babysitter Ashley (Olivia DeJonge) will try to defend herself and 12-year-old Luke (Levi Miller) from criminals who plan to break into the house. The situation will evolve in unexpected ways....
