Starting next March 17, it will arrive in Italian theaters thanks to Barter Entertainment, Frankenstein, the new film by Bernard Rose. The director is best known for directing Candyman - Terror Behind the Mirror (1992) e Snuff-Movie (2005).
For Frankenstein, Rose was inspired by Mary Shelley's famous novel by retelling the story in a contemporary key. The film, set in modern-day Los Angeles, is told entirely from the point of view of the monster, Adam, a sensitive creature who becomes a target of human malevolence against which he can only respond with violence.
Abstract: After a series of experiments, a pair of Los Angeles scientists, Viktor Frankenstein (Danny Huston) and Marie (Carrie-Anne Moss), artificially create a perfect creature, Adam (Xavier Samuel). Later considered a failed experiment, the two get rid of him.
The script for the film is by the director himself. The cast features several well-known actors including Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix), Danny Huston (30 Days of Darkness), Tony Todd (Candyman) and Xavier Samuel (The Loved Ones).
