Produced, written and directed by Jonathan Holbrook, Beloved Beast is an engaging horror film that, despite its length (nearly 3 hours), entertains the viewer until the end of the viewing.
Full of dramatic overtones and well-developed characters, the story features Nina (Sanae Loutsis), a 12-year-old girl who has just lost her parents in a car accident. The young girl is placed in the care of her aunt, an unloving woman who deals with bad people. Alone and still in shock from her severe loss, Nina befriends a dangerous lunatic who has escaped from a mental institution and decides to bring him home.
