Produced by Plan B Entertainment together with Warner Bros, the film is directed by Tim Burton and filming is currently underway in London.
In Beetlejuice 2, Winona Ryder is joined by Jenna Ortega (Scream, Wednesday), who plays her daughter.
Confermato anche il ritorno del protagonista Michael Keaton (Batman) e Catherine O'Hara. Il sequel inoltre introdurrà nuovi personaggi interpretati da Monica Bellucci (Dracula di Bram Stoker), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse) e Justin Theroux (Joker).

The story of Beetlejuice (1988) follows a young married couple who die in a car accident. The two return as ghosts to their old home, which, however, is inhabited by a family of city waifs. After trying to chase them away by scaring them away, the two ghosts ask for help from Beetlejuice, a sympathetic, foul-mouthed, bumbling little spirit who is also prone to vile lusts.
