Beetlejuice 2: end of filming announced

With a post on Instagram, Tim Burton announced the end of the filming of Beetlejuice 2, the sequel to the film he himself directed in 1988.
Produced by Plan B Entertainment together with Warner Bros, the film stars Jenna Ortega and will arrive in theaters on September 6, 2024 with Warner Bros.

The cast includes Winona Ryder again as Lydia Deetz, the character she played in Beetlejuice, the cult film directed by Tim Burton (Batman, Edward Many Scissors) in 1988 and winner of the Best Makeup Oscar.
Al suo fianco ci saranno ancora Michael Keaton e Catherine O’Hara insieme a Monica Bellucci (Dracula di Bram Stoker), Justin Theroux (Joker) e Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse). Quest'ultimo nel ruolo di un agente di polizia nell’aldilà.
The screenplay was written by Al Gough and Miles Millar, the creators of Wednesday.

Plot details have not yet been revealed.
