According to Deadline, Plan B Entertainment, the production company of famed U.S. actor and film producer Brad Pitt, would be involved in the sequel to the horror fantasy Beetlejuice - Spiritello porcello, the cult film directed by Tim Burton (Batman, Edward Many Scissors) in 1988.
Targeted by Warner Bros, the project is currently in development and there is no script yet.

The story follows a young married couple who die in a car accident. The two return as ghosts to their old home, which, however, is inhabited by a family of city waifs. After trying to chase them away by scaring them away, the two ghosts ask for help from Beetlejuice, a sympathetic, foul-mouthed, bumbling little spirit who is also prone to vile lusts.
