TetroVideo has acquired the rights for the distribution of Be My Cat: A Film For Anne (Romania - 2015), the found footage horror film produced, written, directed and starring Adrian Țofei, here playing an aspiring Romanian filmmaker obsessed with Anne Hathaway, a famous Hollywood actress.
Be My Cat: A Film For Anne will be available for home video soon thanks to TetroVideo which will distribute it in an ultralimited and numbered edition: only 100 Bookboxes (DVD + poster + 2 cards) - subtitles in French and Italian.
Be My Cat: A Film For Anne is the first found footage from Romania and won several awards including "Best Film" at the Night of Horror International Film Festival (2015) in Sydney and "Best Actor" for Adrian Țofei at the Nashville Film Festival (2016).
Plot: Adrian is a fledgling Romanian director who is obsessed with directing a hit film with his favorite actress, Anne Hathaway, at all costs. The man would like the Hollywood star to play a role he has written for her. Adrian considers himself a great director and thinks that, thanks to his film, Anne Hataway will win another Academy Award. To have her in the cast the man will be willing to do anything but his morbid obsession with the actress will trap him in a dimension of madness.
