In Baskin, il regista Can Evrenol offre allo spettatore la sua terrificante visione dell'inferno, già presentata, tra l'altro, nell'omonimo cortometraggio da lui stesso diretto nel 2013 e di cui il film del 2015 è la versione estesa.
Sinossi: una serie di misteriose e sinistre circostanze porterà una squadra di poliziotti in servizio a passare attraverso una botola che è in realtà un passaggio che porta all'Inferno. Il gruppo si ritroverà all'interno di un edificio abbandonato e fatiscente dove è in atto una messa nera.
The screenplay is by the director himself together with Ogulcan Eren Akay.
Instead, the cast includes Muharrem Bayrak, Mehmet Akif Budak, Fadik Bülbül, Elif Dag, Mehmet Fatih Dokgoz, Aslihan Erguvan, and Mümin Kaar.
Baskin will have its world premiere this September at the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness.
