The story of Barbarian sheds light on Tess (Georgina Campbell), a young woman headed to Detroit for a job interview. The girl has already booked a house for rent but, upon arriving there late at night, discovers that it is already inhabited by a mysterious man (Bill Skarsgård).
Although hesitant, Tess decides to stay but soon discovers that there is more to fear than just an unexpected guest.
In addition to Georgina Campbell, the cast includes Justin Long (Drag Me to Hell, Tusk), Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler, and Jaymes Butler.
Barbarian is produced by Roy Lee (The Ring, The Grudge, IT, IT - Chapter Two) along with Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz of Boulderlight and Arnon Milchan.
