Adler Entertainment has released the Italian poster and trailer for the Muse (Spagna - 2017), l’horror del regista spagnolo Jaume Balaguerò (Darkness, Bed Time, Rec, [REC] 4: Apocalipsis) e che esordirà nelle sale italiane il 22 agosto 2018.
Muse (aka Muses) is the film adaptation of the novel "Checkers number 13” by Jose Carlos Somoza. In this cinematic reinterpretation Jaume Balaguerò once again offers his original take on the horror genre by providing his elegant vision of this fantasy world in which the concepts of beauty, love and art are transformed into something dangerous and terrifying. The film mixes intrigue and mystery by adding a series of unsolved crimes that only one man, marked by his personal drama, will be able to solve.
Trama: l’insegnante di letteratura Samuel Salomon (Elliot Cowan) è un uomo segnato dalla morte della sua ragazza. Da quel tragico giorno, il professore ha abbandonato l'insegnamento ed è tormentato da un incubo ricorrente in cui una sconosciuta viene assassinata durante un rituale. Quando la stessa donna del sogno viene ritrovata senza vita nel mondo reale, Samuel raggiunge la scena del crimine per cercare delle risposte alle sue domande. Qui incontrerà Rachel, una ragazza che, come lui, sostiene di essere perseguitata dallo stesso incubo. Insieme, i due cercheranno di scoprire l’identità della misteriosa signora ma le loro ricerche li porterà ad addentrarsi in un mondo tetro e pericoloso governato da figure che nei secoli hanno ispirato gli artisti: le Muse.
