A distanza di oltre due anni dall'ultima notizia dell'horror sovrannaturale Ayla, the first teaser trailer for the film that mixes love, death, madness and horror was recently revealed. Presented as a body horror, Ayla is written and directed by Elias, former author of Dead Sucks and Gut.
A dare i volti ai protagonisti della storia sono Nicholas Wilder (Gut) e Tristan Risk (American Mary, Fetish Factory, Save Yourself, Frankenstein Created Bikers). Completano il cast Dee Wallace (E.T., The Howling), Bill Oberst Jr. (Circus of the Dead, Coyote, The Chair), Andrew Sensenig (We are still here), Sarah Schoofs (Phobia) e D'Angelo Midili (The Invoking).
Trama: Elton (Nicholas Wilder) non riesce ancora ad accettare la perdita della sorella Ayla, morta trent'anni prima a soli quattro anni. Il giovane ne è così ossessionato che farà di tutto per riportarla in vita. La creatura risvegliata però non avrà le sembianze di una bambina ma quelle di una donna adulta (Tristan Risk). Il folle gesto di Elton avrà delle conseguenze devastanti.
