It will arrive in Italian theaters on March 8 grazie a M2, l'acclamato Autopsy (The Autopsy of Jane Doe), the horror film directed by Norwegian director André Øvredal (The Troll Hunter) on a four-handed screenplay by Ian B. Goldberg and Richard Naing. The film, for which the official Italian trailer is already available, boasts the presence in the cast of well-known actors Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch, who here play two forensic doctors (father and son, respectively) grappling with an autopsy on a young woman's body.
Trama: il medico legale Tommy Tilden (Brian Cox) gestisce con il figlio Austin (Emile Hirsch) un obitorio in Virginia. Un giorno i due verranno incaricati dalla polizia di effettuare l'autopsia sul corpo di una ragazza sconosciuta. Il cadavere, rinvenuto in un seminterrato, sulla scena di un pluriomicidio, è perfettamente conservato e non presenta alcun segno che possa ricondurre alla causa del decesso. L'arrivo di quel corpo esanime all’interno dell’obitorio scatenerà una serie di inspiegabili situazioni raccapriccianti che terrorizzeranno a morte i due medici.
In the cast of Autopsy (UK - 2016), in addition to Emile Hirsch and Brian Cox, also Ophelia Lovibond, Michael McElhatton, Parker Sawyers and Jane Perry. The corpse is played by Irish model Olwen Catherine Kelly.
