The campaign Kickstarter dedicated to Automata non si è ancora conclusa ma si può già parlare di un gran successo visto che l'obiettivo di raccolta fondi (€90.613) è stato raggiunto e superato.
Automata (UK - 2018) is the new film by Lawrie Brewster, already the author of such films as The Unkindness of Ravens (2016) and The Black Gloves (2017).
Automata is a horror/gothic whose protagonist is an antiquarian who is tasked with authenticating “The Infernal Princess,” a life-size, mechanical doll made three hundred years earlier. The film will be bolstered by epic battle scenes involving knights and ghostly soldiers.
Trama: l'esperto antiquario Brendan Cole (Jamie Scott Gordon) viene convocato nella sinistra Blackhall Mansion per attestare l’autenticità di una bambola molto particolare. Trattasi della Principessa Infernale, un antico automa di cui si erano perse le tracce e che ora potrebbe rivelarsi la scoperta del secolo. Il misterioso e affascinante oggetto però ha un'anima diabolica e quando i suoi ingranaggi inizieranno a girare, Brendan e la sua figliastra saranno testimoni di orrori inconcepibili.
