Dopo il debutto cinematografico a Manila avvenuto il 25 dicembre scorso, l'horror filippino Aurora (Philippines – 2018) is set to be released in US theaters on January 18.
The film is directed by Yam Laranas, the director of The Echo, Patient X and The Road.
Aurora deals with the theme of tragedies at sea, namely shipwrecks resulting in the death of passengers and crew.
Plot: The passenger ship Aurora crashes into a group of rocks near an island, killing everyone on board. The accident forces Leana, the owner of a dilapidated inn, to search for the bodies in exchange for payment and then deliver them to the victims' families. However, the dead return to shore and find refuge in her home.
In the cast of Aurora (Philippines – 2018) Anne Curtis, Mercedes Cabral, Andrea Del Rosario, Sue Prado, Ricardo Cepeda, Ruby Ruiz, Allan Paule, and Arnold Reyes.
The screenplay of Aurora It is signed by Gin De Mesa and Yam Laranas.
