Also released was the first image of one of the new creatures Ash will have to face off against, which you can see to the left here.
According to producer and showrunner Craig DiGregorio, in Ash vs Evil Dead there will be several deadite (image above), that is, human bodies possessed by demons awakened after uttering certain formulas from the book of the dead (the Necronomicon). Some creatures, on the other hand, will not be deadite But mere demons.
As a reminder, the series will debut next Oct. 31 on Starz. Sam Raimi directs the first episode whose cast includes Bruce Campbell, Jill Marie Jones, Dana DeLorenzo, Lucy Lawless, Mimi Rogers and Ray Santiago.
