In un'intervista su Inverse, Zack Snyder has revealed the title of the sequel to Army of The Dead, zombie movie he directed in 2021.
The film is currently in development in partnership with Netflix and will be titled Planet of the Dead.
In addition to making public the title of the second installment on the undead-themed saga, Zack Snyder also talked about Army of Thieves, a prequel coming to Netflix on Friday, October 29:
"The real adventure would be to see what happened to Dieter when the safe door closed. Was he killed by Zeus or not? What happened? We don't see him die on camera and he still has time to escape. I will not tell you what happens in Army of the Dead 2 - alias Planet of the Dead - but I can only say that there is a possibility that Dieter survived and that perhaps the fear of death drove him to want to get on Gwendoline's trail".
We remind you that. Army of the Dead is played by Dave Bautista and tells of a group of mercenaries, hired by the owner of a casino in Las Vegas, enter the undead-infested quarantine zone to recover $200 million buried in the gambling house vault. This, before the Nevada city is neutralized by a government nuclear attack.
With the clock ticking, the underground room armored, and a horde of intelligent and hungry zombies on their tail, it will not be easy for the mercenaries to complete the mission.
