S'intitola Drifter (USA - 2016), il thriller/horror post apocalittico presentato come un "incrocio" tra Mad Max and Don't open that door. Producing and directing it is Chris von Hoffman, author of some fifteen short films (among which the only one in the horror genre is Apartment Terror).
The screenplay, on the other hand, is by the director himself together with Aria Emory, who also appears in the cast.
The story of the film features two outlaw brothers who are captured by a small family of cannibals. The psychopaths run the desolate town together with the sadistic local mayor.
The cast includes Aria Emory, Drew Harwood, Monique Rosario, Anthony Ficco, Rebecca Fraiser and James McCabe.
Drifter will debut in U.S. theaters on Feb. 24 through XLrator Media while the date for VOD is set for Feb. 28.
