Vortex Words + Pictures have announced a new partnership with A71 Entertainment and Black Fawn Distribution for the distribution of Another Wolfcop Canada.
Another WolfCop, the Canadian horror comedy written and directed by Lowell Dean in 2016, is the sequel to WolfCop, made by the director himself in 2014.
Another Wolfcop will debut in Canadian theaters on December 8, 2017, and will be released on Blu-ray/DVD in 2018 by A71 and Black Fawn.
In Another Wolfcop, actor Leo Fafard reprises the role of the alcoholic werewolf policeman. In addition to him, the cast also includes the other actors from the first chapter: Amy Matysio, Jonathan Cherry, Laura Abramsen, Yannick Bisson, Jessica Hinkson, and Serena Miller. They are joined by Sydney Swallows (the villain) and, in a cameo, Canadian musician Lawrence Gowan and director Kevin Smith.
Plot: Werewolf cop and alcoholic Lou Garou (Leo Fafard) is intent on stopping an eccentric businessman who has won over the residents of Woodhaven with a new brewery and field hockey team.
