Another Me (Spain - 2013) is the title of the film written and directed by Isabel Coixet and starring Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in the TV series Game of Thrones. Another Me, whose official trailer is available today, is the film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Scottish writer Cathy MacPhail.
Sophie Turner is Fay is a teenager whose life changes as a result of her father's illness. Her relationship with her mother and her peers tilt but, making everything more difficult, is her belief that she is being haunted by a girl identical to her, namely her double, another Fay who wants to take over her identity and thus her life. Fay begins to become so obsessed with her Doppelgänger that she neglects everything else.
Another Me will be shown in U.S. theaters starting August 22.
In the cast, in addition to Isabel Coixet, are other well-known actors such as Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black), Rhys Ifans (Hannibal Lecter - Origins of Evil), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Shadowhunters - City of Bones, Shelter - Paranormal Identities), Geraldine Chaplin (Wolfman, Imago mortis), Ivana Baquero (The Faun's Labyrinth, The Full Moon Murders), and Gregg Sulkin.
