News has been released regarding the making of a fourth installment of the supernatural horror saga Insidious. The first film, directed by James Wan in 2011, enjoys a sequel viz. Insidious 2 of 2013 and a prequel titled Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015).
The one just announced could be a sequel to the third chapter and thus either another prequel or a sequel to the first two segments directed by James Wan. This was stated during an interview by Leigh Whannell, the director of Insidious 3 who will probably be entrusted with directing the new project. At his side will definitely be James Wan.
Recall that Wan is currently involved as a producer in both Lights Out which in Annabelle 2 while as a screenwriter and director in The Conjuring 2 - The Conjuring.
