The sequel to Annabelle will be released in American theaters on May 19, 2017 thanks to New Line Cinema. This is what was released today about the horror doll movie whose direction may be entrusted to David F. Sandberg, the director of the now well-known short film Lights Out (link to news story Lights Out: from viral short to feature film).
In Annabelle, John gives a doll to his wife Mia, a collector of puppets. The spirit that haunts the doll will not be long in manifesting itself, unleashing terror and disquiet in the couple's home.
The plot of Annabelle 2 instead is currently unknown.
Recall that the first installment, directed by John R. Leonetti in 2014 and arriving in our theaters thanks to Warner Bros. Italy, is the spin-off of the The Summoning (The Conjuring) by James Wan. We also take the opportunity to add that the sequel to The Conjuring or The Conjuring 2, will see the light of day in U.S. theaters starting next June 10.
