Warner Bros. Italy has made available the new official Italian trailer for Annabelle 2: Creation, the horror film starring David F. Sandberg, the director of Lights Out - Terror in the Dark. Annabelle 2: Creation is the prequel to Annabelle (2014) which, in turn, is the first spin-off of the The Conjuring - The Conjuring (In fact, the franchise enjoys two other spin-offs viz. The Nun and The Crooked Man). Sandberg's film tackles the origins of the diabolical doll first introduced in the The Conjuring - The Conjuring and will arrive in Italian cinemas on August 3, 2017.
Plot: Twenty years after the death of their baby girl, a doll maker (Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife (Miranda Otto) host a nun (Stephanie Sigman) and a group of children from a dilapidated orphanage in their home. The guests' presence, however, will be unwelcome to Annabelle, one of the dolls created there.
The cast includes Miranda Otto (The War of the Worlds), Anthony LaPaglia, Alicia Vela-Bailey, Lulu Wilson (Ouija: The Origin of Evil, Deliver Us from Evil), Stephanie Sigman, Adam Bartley, Talitha Bateman, Philippa Coulthard, Lotta Losten, Samara Lee (The Last Witch Hunter), Javier Botet, and Mark Bramhall.
The screenplay of Annabelle 2: Creation was written by Gary Dauberman. James Wan, on the other hand, is the producer of the film.
