For the upcoming home video release, Magnet Releasing has released a clip of Amulet (UK - 2020), the horror film about diabolical possession written and directed by actress Romola Garai (The Vanity Fair, Atonement), here making her directorial debut.
The film will arrive on streaming platforms and on DVD starting Oct. 20.
Plot: London. Left destitute by an accident, former soldier Tomax moves into the home of Magda, a lonely woman who needs help caring for her terminal mother. After a moment of reluctance, Magda welcomes him into her life but when he begins to have feelings for her, terrifying phenomena begin to occur in the house. Something is wrong with the elderly woman who never leaves upstairs and has the power to manipulate her daughter....
In the cast of Amulet there are Imelda Staunton, Carla Juri, Alec Secareanu, Angeliki Papoulia and Paul O'Kelly.
