Lionsgate has shared the poster and official trailer for. Amityville Uprising (USA - 2022), the zombie movie written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill, the director of Lazarus: Apocalypse, The Amityville Harvest and Big Freaking Rat.
Amityville Uprising will be available on DVD and for video on demand starting January 11, 2022 (uSA market).
The film is in no way related to the famous saga Amityville initiated in the late 1970s with Amityville Horror (1979).
Plot: A chemical explosion at a military base triggers a supernatural disaster. As Sergeant Dash (Scott C. Roe) tries to keep the peace at the local police station, the incident unleashes a toxic acid rain causing the dead to rise.
