Postponed again, for the fourth time, the U.S. release date for Amityville: The Awakening, the film written and directed by Franck Khalfoun (Maniac remake). This fourteenth installment of the franchise Amityville Horror will no longer be distributed in U.S. theaters, with Dimension Films, as of April 1, 2016 but rather as of January 6, 2017.
Abstract: Joan (Jennifer Jason Leigh) is a single mother who moves into a Long Island home with her children: baby Juliet and teenage twins Belle and James (the latter in a coma following a
accident). However, strange phenomena begin to manifest in the new home, terrorizing the family. Someone will warn them by revealing secrets about the dark past of the house, once the scene of a horrific massacre.
