These days Notorious Pictures has released the Italian trailer for. Amityville - The Awakening (Amityville: The Awakening), the horror film written and directed by Franck Khalfoun, the director of the remake of Maniac. Indeed, it seems that, after several postponements, Amityville - The Awakening will see the light of day in Italian theaters on August 23, 2017.
Amityville: The Awakening is the new sequel to the famous franchise Amityville whose first chapter is Amityville Horror (1979). The story's protagonist is Joan (Jennifer Jason Leigh), a single mother who goes to live in a Long Island home with her children namely baby Juliet and teenage twins Belle (Bella Thorne) and James (a comatose boy). The new home, however, once the scene of terrifying events, will prove anything but welcoming. Within those mysterious walls, the new family will witness strange phenomena including, but not limited to, James' (Cameron Monaghan) miraculous recovery.
