Annunciata l'anteprima mondiale di Amazon Hot Box (USA - 2018), il nuovo horror diretto da James Bickert, il regista di Frankenstein Created Bikers (review here). Il film sarà proiettato venerdì 15 giugno all'"Historic Plaza Theatre" in Atlanta, Georgia. All'evento saranno presenti cast (Tristan Risk, Ellie Church, Kelsey Carlisle, Jordan Phipps e Jett Bryant) e crew.
Amazon Hot Box è un mix di diversi generi come action, dark comedy, horror e omaggia il cinema horror italiano degli anni '70. In particolare, Amazon Hot Box belongs to the strand women in prison, un sottogenere dei film d'exploitation.
The story features an American student who is arrested during a raid and locked up in a women's prison where Inga Von Krupp (Ellie Church), a sadistic prison guard, is keeping order. Crocodiles, zealots, psychotic inmates, experiments and voodoo will be the obstacles that prevent the new inmate from escaping.
The screenplay of Amazon Hot Box was written by James Bickert himself, who co-produced it with Brian K. Williams (Space Babes from Outer Space).
The cast includes: Ellie Church (Harvest Lake, Johnny Z), Tristan Risk (American Mary, Frankenstein Created Bikers), Jett Bryant (Dear God No!), Kelsey Carlisle (Headless), Jordan Phipps (Close Calls), Paul McComiskey, Kris Donta, Janine Cygan, Danielle Page, Alyss Winkler, Rodney Leete, Billy Ratliff, Ben Bladon, Aaron Beelner, Nick Hood, Samara Scott, Robert Alvarez, and Bryan G. Malone.
"Work In Progress LLC" and "Concord Creative and Generativity Productions" appear in the production of the film. Distribution (scheduled for July 2018) has been entrusted to Work In Progress LLC (home video) and Dark Side Releasing (Canada, UK and Australia).
