20th Century Fox Italy has released the Italian poster and trailer for Alien: Romulus, the film by Uruguayan director and screenwriter Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead - remake, Don't Breathe).
Alien: Romulus is the seventh installment in the Alien franchise and is set between the events of Alien and Aliens.
The film will arrive in theaters on August 14, 2024.
The story, to which much more terrifying aspects have been added, features a group of young space colonists who stumble upon the wreckage of a spaceship inside which hides a xenomorph.
Alien: Romulus is produced by Ridley Scott, the director of the first installment, and stars Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bones), David Jonsson (Agatha Christie's Murder is Easy), Isabela Merced (The Last of Us), Spike Fearn (Aftersun) and Aileen Wu.
Based on the characters created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett, the screenplay is by Alvarez himself along with his collaborator Rodo Sayagues (Don't Breathe 2).
